Going over this amount can cause your account to get suspended or even terminated. Skype is also a good cheap way to go. Much like Magicjack, you need to make sure you have a fast enough connection for good results and call quality.
In the cell phone world, there are a lot of little companies attempting to sway customers away from larger companies by offering much lower prices. While companies such as, Verizon Wireless and At&t continue to raise prices for their products and services, other companies like Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile are now offering unlimited plans, for a lot lower price. With Boost Mobile for example, you can get unlimited calls, text messages and data usage for $50.00 a month. Another good thing about these companies, is most of the time there is no contract. Meaning, you won’t get hit with those costly early termination fees if you find you don’t need that particular service anymore. Also, after making 5 payments on time with boost mobile, they start to lower your monthly bill $5.00 each month, until down to $35.00 a month. This is a great price for unlimited usage on your cell phone.
With cell phone service, it all matters where you are located. The cheaper routes, such as Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile don’t have nearly as large or dependable of a network, then say Verizon Wireless. In this case, you really do get what you pay for. If you live in the right area, you won’t find any problems with the smaller cell phone companies. You will notice that the data usage isn’t as fast. There is also more of a chance you phone will lose service while driving. For someone who doesn’t travel much, and doesn’t really need the very top of the line phone, a cheaper cell phone service is really the way to go.
